Acceptable Use Policy

1. Account & Access

  • Keep credentials confidential; limit access to Authorized Users.
  • Don't share accounts or circumvent authentication/authorization.

2. Lawful Use

Don't use the Services in violation of law (including privacy, export/sanctions, anti-corruption, anti-boycott, or IP laws), to transmit illegal content, or to infringe others' rights.

3. Prohibited/Regulated Data (Cloud)

Do not submit regulated data to the Cloud Services, including:

  • PHI (HIPAA)
  • PCI card data (PAN/CVV/track)
  • Government-classified or export-controlled data
  • Biometric identifiers/templates
  • GDPR special-category data
  • COPPA children's data

Use Self-Hosted for regulated data per your license.

4. Security & Abuse

  • No security testing without written authorization (no scanning, probing, or DDoS).
  • No introducing malware or attempting to bypass technical or usage controls.
  • Maintain up-to-date client/agent versions as required by the Version Support Policy.

5. Fair Use / Stability

  • Don't overload or materially degrade the Service or others' use (e.g., abusive job fan-out, hot-loop retries, excessive creation/deletion of connectors).
  • Respect rate limits, concurrency limits, and scheduled maintenance.

6. Third-Party Services & Data Rights

  • Only connect sources/destinations you are authorized to use; comply with their terms.
  • Don't use the Services to harvest, scrape, or otherwise extract data from third-party services in breach of those services' terms.

7. Content Standards

  • No content that's unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that incites violence or discrimination.
  • No high-risk use (life support, aviation, nuclear, etc.).

8. Anti-Boycott / Export

Do not request or condition use on participation in unsanctioned boycotts, and do not use the Services in Sanctioned Jurisdictions or by Restricted Parties.

9. Enforcement

  • We may monitor for compliance (automated + manual), throttle, suspend, or terminate access that violates this AUP or threatens security/stability, consistent with the Agreement.
  • We may report suspected illegal activity to authorities where legally required.

10. Updates

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material adverse changes take effect at renewal unless required for legal/security reasons.
